If you are looking for a truck show that has it all, this is it. Scrapin the Coast is located in Biloxi, Mississippi and is literally across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. Let that sink in for a second. Yes, you are walking around a show all weekend with palm trees and the beach in plain site, my kind of venue!
My buddy Bryce owns a shop called DeRailed in Sharonville, Ohio. Every spring, he has an open house the same day the city has a cruise-in around the corner. A lot of classic and muscle cars show up to the downtown car show, but a decent amount of minitrucks made it out. Free food, good weather, and great people make events like this fun the whole time. Can’t wait to cruise down next year!
What can I say that you don’t already know? Layd Out at the Park is one hell of a good time all weekend long. From the cruise down, to the hotel parties, to the huge show field, to all the vendors that show up, and so much more. I go to a few Tennessee shows every year and this is always my favorite. This was the 10th anniversary of the show and I’ve been 6 times, and this was my second year setting the vendor booth up.
Being in the Midwest, it’s hard to make it out to a west coast show. Thankfully our good friend John Mata can hit some of these shows up and put his camera to work. If you like these photos, please help us out and share them. Thanks!
Once again, my west coast brotha from another motha came through. John Mata hit up the Forbidden Fantasy Show last weekend and snapped some minitruck photos for us. One of these years I’m gonna fly out west and hit up a show. I know I keep saying it, but damn, these trucks have me ready to pack a bag tonight. Enjoy!
