To Better Days DVD Review
Have you seen the newest Weekend Celebrity Productions DVD yet? If not, you are missing out. To Better Days has to be in my top 3 favorite minitruck DVDs. I’m not sure what took me so long to watch it, but I threw it in the PS3 last weekend. I couldn’t stop watching it! There were even some parts I had to watch again. Little did I know I’d be at my friends’ house the next night and a few of us watched it there too. It was sweet to watch it again, and to see them watch it for the first time. Good shit! Here’s a trailer so you can see what I’m talking about:
Chris Brull, Amanda Brull, and Brandon Leath all started Crime Pays Video awhile back, and those were always some of my favorite truck DVDs to watch. They’ve moved on to start Weekend Celebrity Productions and they’ve upped the quality even more. They definitely have some badass equipment to be able to capture the mini truck scene the way they do. Everything is so smooth and looks so sick when they focus in on the details. They hit up some of the best shows in the country, like SEMA, Sittin Pretti, Siknic, and more. Not to mention all the features. I’ve got to say the black F150 from Status is one of my favorites. Especially with the all red interior. Well done! Here’s an excerpt from the DVD that I think sums it all up:
“This film is intended for motivational purposes. Please enjoy it with friends, and use it as a catalyst to regain the drive to finish your truck. As the credits roll at the end, go to your computer and seek out that new project that will fill your empty garage. Once you have viewed the coverage from some of the year’s best shows, start planning your future road trip to an out of state show that you have never been to. Find a way to contribute. The worst thing you can do is rely on these films to show you what Minitruckin is all about. Use it as a tool to remember those great days, and as inspiration to create better ones.”
Unfortunately, I’m sold out of this DVD at the moment. It’s so good, I can’t even keep them in stock! But I do plan to order some more very soon. The next show I’ll be at is in October at the Dropt & Destroyed show in North Canton, Ohio. I will definitely plan on bringing some there. So if you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to check it out ASAP! And be on the lookout for more minitruck DVD reviews coming real soon!
